Wow oh Wow... Jurassic Park in 3D premiered this week, and I couldn't help but dedicate a post to one of my all-time favorite movies :) So for this week's photo, the theme is "Reliving the Experience." Here's Mr. Rex, Ms. Raptor and the props from the 3D experience... I positioned them in a way to suggest that the T-rex was going to the theater to see the movie (hence, the ticket in his mouth and the glasses in his hand), but that the raptor wanted to tag along (that's why she's grabbing and gnawing at the 3D glasses). The skeleton was a gift from my bf, and the raptor was a gift from my sister (yes, they feed my obsession) :)

I remember the first time I saw this movie with my parents. I was completely in awe and totally screen-glued to the dinosaurs. Since then, there hasn't been a year that I haven't watched Jurassic Park. Just 2 years ago, I was wondering if the director, Steven Spielberg, would have ever considered rendering this classic in 3D. And what'd you know? After the success of Titanic in 3D, Universal Studios announced that Jurassic Park was going to be out in 3D for 2013! Boy oh boy was I pumped! I already imagined being screen-glued all over again, 20 years later!

So of course I trekked over to the theater at the very first showing, which was April 4th at 10 pm. Oh, did I forget to say that I was posting clips, stories, etc. on FB and informing everyone that JP was going to be out on April 5th? Lol... After a dozen trailers, the 3D experience began.... and OMG! IMAX and Universal Studios did such an awesome job, you'd think that it was originally filmed in IMAX and 3D. The quality was simply amazing! And better yet, I felt like I was part of everything because I sat in the 3rd row from the front of course :) Mind you, I will be seeing this again before it disappears from the big screens. And after that, I'm definitely getting the Blu-Ray 3D DVD when it becomes available. YES! I'm that much of a fan... Oops, did I mention that I read Jurassic Park and The Lost World by Michael Crichton just last year? :)

Ah well, enough of my blurb... go see it for yourself and relive all those wonderful dino moments that paved the way for extraordinary special and visual effects in the cinematic industry. And for those of you haven't seen it, you should treat yourself and see this wonderful epic.Until then, here's a few more funs photos from my shoot.

BTW, Jurassic Park 4 will be out next summer!
