I told you this was going to be a month of colors:) For this week's photo, I devoted lots of time and energy to making a rangoli for Holi. For details, read here. As such, the theme for this week's photo is "Colorful Spring."

With the amount of preparation that went into designing the subject (the rangoli), I didn't bother to spend too much time on photo-taking or editing. That may sound a bit arrogant, but truth be told... the candles that surrounded the rangoli provided great lighting for the powders. With that said, the shot was illuminated in the places that I wanted it to be, and dark in areas that I didn't want illuminated. Thus, I didn't need to compensate for much via editing besides a bit of vibrancy for the colors, and sharpening for the powder particles.
