My apologies for the late post, but it's been hectic over the holiday season. The theme for this week was "Shot from Below." All week I pondered on ideas of what to shoot, and even tried five different concepts. However, in the end... I had to settle for taking a photo of my companion animal.

Surprisingly, to get this shot was quite challenging. Anyone who has pets (especially cats) knows that it's exceptionally difficult to get their creatures  to stay still, muchless look directly into a camera. I did several takes with my other cat, Nala. However, I didn't capture a single shot where she was looking into the camera. Thereafter, I tried with Chester. I placed him unto a bookshelf, then I stooped below and tried to get his attention to look down at me. Of course this didn't work! Eventually, I asked my sister to get his attention with a flashlight/laser towards my direction. A few shots later, I got the about image.

The photo has been slightly edited to mellow out the sharpness and structure of the shot. I added a vintage layer to the frame via Google+ PhotoEditor. It's not as convincing as a "Shot from Below" as I'd hoped, but I think it works. What are your thoughts?
