It's Week 30, and for this week... I got a bit artsy :)

The theme for this week from 52 Frames was "Sky." However, since I figured I didn't just want to take photos of clouds and the sky, I'd try to do something different. I played around with several different interpretations of "sky" and ultimately decided to do something with a sky-blue theme. I had some blue paint powder laying around the house, along with some construction paper. Then I browsed a few blue paint art concepts on the web and came across this lovely tree that looked like something from a children's book. Since I'm not the artistic one in the family, I asked my sister to volunteer in sketching the outlines of the tree. Before I knew it, she had already sprinkled the blue powdered paint to imitate the leaves! I was quite impressed with our end product (even though it's quite different from our inspiration). Thus, my theme for this week is "A Sky Blue Winter's Night."

Not much else to say, except that to add some more texture and life to the photo... I quickly ran it through Lightroom to increase the saturation and contrast. A big merci beaucoup to my wonderful sister for chipping in :) <3.

Here's another edit of the same image.
