A while ago I asked my cousin to volunteer as a model/muse for some photos. After some time, we got together in Central Park and took some quite photos against the diminishing sunlight because we started the shoot too late. This was practically my fault, since I discovered I hadn't packed the batteries for my camera until I got to the city. Yeah, I know! Thereafter, I hopped on the train towards a nearby photography store and bought a spare battery for the shoot (since my cousin was all dressed up and ready to go, and wasting her time wasn't an option).

Luckily, I had a reflecting umbrella with me, which I utilized to shed some light on my subject as the actual sunlight was a bit too dim for my liking. We shot about 50+ photos. After some sorting, and agreeing on the ones we liked.... here's what we decided to publish.

As you have noticed, there's some variations in the color scheme and lighting of each photo. This is wholly due to angles from which I shot from, the amount of light I reflected onto the subject via the umbrella, and the amount of sunlight that we were able to salvage. As you know, I'm not big on PhotoShop, so I didn't bother to correct any imperfections within the photo. Besides, my muse has a pretty lovely face... so no work was needed! I've always wanted to do a "natural light" photoshoot, and finally got around to it. I'm quite pleased.... maybe next time I'll be able to play around with more lighting variations.
